Pohl, Nash Earn Omaha World-Herald Honors

OMAHA, Neb. – Junior forward Heather Pohl was named to the Omaha World-Herald's Division II All-Nebraska Women's Basketball First Team in an announcment on Tuesday. Jamie Nash earned a place on the second team.
Pohl led all Division II players in the state with 17.9 points per game. The junior earned MIAA Honorable Mention at season's end. Nash scored 11.5 points per game and recorded 3.1 steals per game to claim a spot on the Omaha World-Herald second team.
Paige Frauendorfer and Jessica Zaruba received honorable mention for the Mavs. Wayne State's Ashley Arlen was named honorary captain.
The teams were voted on by all Division II women's basketball head coaches in Nebraska.
