Field Set for 2011 MIAA Baseball Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The seedings and bracket for the 2011 MIAA Baseball Championship were released by the league office Monday, and No. 3 seed Nebraska Omaha will face sixth-seeded Washburn at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 12.
The annual tournament runs Thursday, May 12 to Sunday, May 15 at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan. The Mavericks finished third in the regular-season conference standings after compiling a record of 32-18 (28-16 MIAA), while WU went 22-27 (20-23 MIAA) for the year.
Tickets are available at $10 for adults and $5 for students with a valid school ID. There is no charge for children age six and younger.
