Mavericks To Host Kids Hockey Day

OMAHA, Neb. – Kids ages eight to 12 will get a chance to learn more about the sport of hockey from the UNO Mavericks during First National Bank's “Kids Hockey Day”. The event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 5 from 1-4 p.m. at the CenturyLink Center Omaha.
Kids Hockey Day will include six activity stations with current and former UNO players and coaches covering six different aspects of hockey. An autograph session will follow the clinic.
Participants will receive a t-shirt, a game puck and a ticket to the Mavericks' upcoming game against Minnesota on Feb. 24. Participation in Kids Hockey Day is limited, so participants are encouraged to sign up early. The cost is $25 per skater.
