Dean Blais Radio Show Coming To Mojo

OMAHA, Neb. – Nelligan Sports Marketing announced today that Mojo Smokehouse and Ales in Aksarben Village will serve as the new home to “The Dean Blais Show”, a weekly radio show featuring the head coach and Maverick hockey players.
The show will make its 2012-13 season debut on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 6 – 7 p.m. on 1180 The Zone 2 and online at 1620thezone.com. Maverick fans are always invited to attend.
“We are very happy to partner with Mojo Smokehouse and Ales to provide a first-class venue for 'The Dean Blais Show,' said Peg Busch, general manager of Nelligan Sports in Omaha. “Mojo's location in Aksarben Village puts it right in the heart of our Pacific Street campus and therefore right in the heart of Omaha and close to many of our fans and students.”
The Dean Blais Show will air from Oct. 16 through Dec. 18 and then take two weeks off during the holidays. It will resume on Jan. 8 and run through the end of the season. As in past years, Terry Leahy and Dave Ahlers will host.
The Mavericks begin the regular season in Kansas City, Mo. for the Icebreaker Tournament on Oct. 12 and 13. They'll play Army on Friday at 9 p.m. and then take on either Maine or Notre Dame the following day.
