This Season To Be Mavericks' Most Watched

OMAHA, Neb. – With at least six nationally televised hockey games this season, University of Nebraska Omaha teams will find themselves watched by more people than ever before.
“It's a great time to be a Maverick fan,” said Trev Alberts, Director of Athletics. “With increased national exposure, fans and alumni from coast to coast should have no trouble keeping up with Omaha's Team.”
The Omaha hockey team has already appeared on the NBC Sports Network twice during its participation in the Icebreaker Tournament in Kansas City, Mo. last weekend. The Mavericks will appear on NBCSN four more times including:
In addition, the Mavericks will appear on regional outlets that are available on satellite several times during the year. Their series at Minnesota on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 will be carried by Fox Sports North Plus. Also, their game at Denver on Saturday, Jan. 12 will be carried by Root Sports. Omaha athletics also is working on having additional games televised within the market.
