Mavs Continue Run at Kansas Classic

Day 2 Results
TOPEKA, Kan.– The Omaha swimming and diving team remained in sixth place with 122 points after the second day of the Kansas Classic at the Capitol Federal Natatorium of the Hummer Sports Complex on Saturday.
Sophomore Lexi Bergeron landed in two finals for the night: the 400 IM's C final (4:37.36) and the 200 freestyle's D final (2:00.57).
The 200 medley relay team made up of freshman Natalie Renshaw, juniors Madeline Hutt and Whitney Korgan and senior Cami Hansberry clocked a time of 1:51.24 in their final. Hutt also swam in the B final of the 100 breast, going 1:06.76.
In the 800 free relay, senior Mattie Fosbender, junior Erin Wright and sophomores Christen Young and Jenna Foiles posted the Mavericks' best finish at 8:03.68.
Notre Dame leads the team standings with 667.5 points, and Kansas remains in second with 587.5. Nebraska sits in third with 452, and Iowa State holds fourth with a total of 286. Rice is just ahead of UNO at 285.
