Jessy Schroedter is a freshman middle blocker from Fremont, Neb. In 2011, she appeared in seven matches, averaging 1.0 kills and 0.53 blocks per set. Schroeder had a season-best four blocks against UC-Colorado Springs on Sept. 10 and a season-high five kills at Nebraska-Kearney on Oct. 25.
What age did you age started playing volleyball? Nine years old.
What was your first volleyball memory? Playing at the YMCA with all my friends.
What is your best volleyball memory? Helping my team go to nationals by getting the winning block.
Who is your volleyball idol and why? (UNO student assistant) Kayla Uhing because she has made my transition easier.
Who influenced your volleyball career the most and why? Deb Grafetin – she made me keep pushing myself to get better.
What is your favorite pro sports team? Saints.
Who is your favorite athlete? Ndomukong Suh.
Do you have any superstitions? No.
Where are you most excited to travel next season? Going to places I have never been and seeing the different campuses.
