Mavericks End Season at SIUE

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - The UNO men's tennis team ended its 2011-12 season with a 6-1 loss at SIUE on Thursday night.
The Mavericks finished the year with a 6-13 record. SIUE improved to 6-12 this season.
Anthony Forcucci picked up the Mavs' only point with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Morten Christensen at No. 2 singles. Ben Williams went neck and neck with Stephen Washuta at No. 6, but eventually fell 6-3, 1-6, 0-1 (7-10).
The Mavs' No. 3 doubles team of Nathan Greteman and Williams claimed an 8-5 win over Christensen and Nicolas Vincent, but SIUE won the other two doubles matches to take the doubles point.
