Mavs Add One to 2012 Signing Class

OMAHA, Neb. - The University of Nebraska Omaha women's basketball team has signed one more recruit to a National Letter of Intent to join the Mavericks for the upcoming season.
Allison Jackson, a 6-0 senior at Burges High School in El Paso, Texas, has signed to play for the Mavericks in 2012-13. Jackson averaged 14.6 points and 8.8 rebounds per game this season for Burges and was a second-team all-city selection by the El Paso Times.
After missing her junior season due to injury, Jackson came back strong in her final year, recording seven 20-point games. Jackson helped the Mustangs finish 22-12 and advance to the Texas Class 4A playoffs.
Jackson joins junior college transfers Ericka House and Casse Vaughn, as well as incoming freshmen Kate Bayes and Ashlie Bruner, in the 2012 signing class.
