
McCrite Named Johnson League All-Star

OMAHA, Neb. -- UNO senior Connor McCrite, who is playing summer baseball for the Topeka Golden Giants, was selected for the Walter Johnson League All-Star Game in Topeka, Kan.
The annual game was held on July 8 at Jerry Robertson Field, and McCrite was a member of the North squad.
McCrite has had an outstanding summer performance for the Golden Giants, batting .368 with eight doubles and a team-leading three triples. The Topeka native also has 24 RBI and 23 runs scored to his credit, helping his team lead the league with a record of 20-9 through July 9.
