Mavs Announce Skills Evaluation Camp

OMAHA, Neb. - The Nebraska Omaha baseball program has announced its 2012 Skills Evaluation Camp, set for Friday, August 3 at the Ballpark at Boystown, located on 138th Street between Dodge and Pacific.
The camp is open to players who aspire to play at the collegiate level and will graduate from high school in 2013, 2014 or 2015. Lunch and a camp T-shirt will be provided to each participant.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. From 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., coaches will conduct running, throwing and defensive skill evaluations. From Noon to 3:30 p.m., campers will participate in competitive games with coaches providing instruction along the way.
Each player will receive an evaluation sheet after the camp concerning the evaluation process and strengths and/or weaknesses observed during the camp.
The cost per camper is $90 if registration is received by August 1. Registration on the day of the camp costs $95. Space is limited, so refunds are 50 percent of the camp fee and can be given until the day prior to camp.
