NBC To Show Up To Six UNO Hockey Games

NEW YORK - The NBC Sports Network announced today a schedule of 24 college hockey games including as many as six UNO games. It will mark the largest number of games the Mavericks have ever had on national television.
The schedule begins with the Icebreaker Tournament on Oct. 12. NBCSN will show the two opening games beginning with Notre Dame and Maine at 6 p.m. and the Mavericks against Army at 9 p.m. The network also will show the championship game on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. CT from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.
The Mavericks also will appear on NBCSN on Jan. 4 when they host Colorado College, Jan. 11 when they visit Denver, Feb. 8 when they host North Dakota and March 1 when they welcome Wisconsin.
“We are very excited to begin our second season of college hockey by offering more coverage than last year,” said Jon Miller, President, Programming NBC Sports and NBC Sports Network. “NBC Sports Network will start the season two months earlier this year, providing sports fans with even more national primetime coverage of the nation's best college hockey.”
