Diamond Club Hosts Season Opener Event

OMAHA, Neb. -- The UNO Diamond Club will host its fourth annual "Season Opener" event to benefit the Omaha baseball program, it was announced Tuesday. The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 16 at Knights of Columbus Hall and will include meet-and-greet time with the 2013 Maverick baseball team.
Food and beverages will be provided for all attendees from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The night also includes a silent auction and raffle, as well as Maverick baseball apparel for sale. Knights of Columbus Hall is located at 4323 Washington Street in Omaha.
The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for youth under 13 years old. Tickets may be purchased in advance by sending checks payable to the UNO Diamond Club, UNO Athletic Department 6001 Dodge Street, Omaha, Neb., 68182.
