The Omaha women's basketball team brings a three-game winning streak into Saturday's tilt against Summit League leader South Dakota State. The Mavericks and Jackrabbits square off at 2 p.m. at the Sapp Fieldhouse, where UNO is 10-2 this season and has won four in a row. South Dakota State represents the final Summit League team the Mavs have yet to face this season. The Teams
Omaha (14-5, 4-3) knocked off North Dakota State, 61-52, Thursday night at the Sapp Fieldhouse. The Mavericks have won three in a row and are in fourth place in The Summit League standings, one game behind IUPUI and South Dakota (5-2) for second place. UNO's 14-5 overall record is the best in The Summit League.
South Dakota State, the preseason Summit League favorite and current conference leader, enters with a 14-6 overall record and 6-1 mark in league action. The Jackrabbits, who have won four straight conference tournament titles, recently saw their eight-game win streak come to an end with a 57-56 loss at home to IUPUI on Jan. 19. South Dakota State's 14-6 overall record is the second best in The Summit League, behind only Omaha.
Series History
UNO holds a 31-28 edge in the all-time series with South Dakota State. The Mavs are 18-12 against SDSU at the Sapp Fieldhouse. SDSU won the last meeting, 97-61, on Feb. 27, 2004 at UNO. The Mavs' last win against the Jackrabbits came on Jan. 18, 2002, an 80-77 overtime win at the Sapp Fieldhouse.

OMAHA, Neb. - Paige Frauendorfer scored 25 points to lead the UNO women's basketball team past North Dakota State, 61-52, Thursday night at the Sapp Fieldhouse. The Mavericks won their third straight and improved to 14-5 overall and 4-3 in The Summit League, good for fourth place in the conference standings. North Dakota State fell to 7-13 overall and 3-5 in conference play. Frauendorfer surpassed 1,000 career points with her second basket of the game, a driving layup with 8:33 left in the first half to give the Mavs an 18-13 lead. She finished the night with eight rebounds to go along with her season-high 25 points. She shot 10-of-16 from the floor, including 1-of-1 from 3-point land, and a perfect 4-of-4 at the free throw line. Jamie Nash, who reached the 1,000-point mark last week, narrowly missed a triple-double with 11 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds. Ericka House came off the bench to spark the Mavs with 13 points, including 3-of-5 shooting from 3-point range.

Her 8.6 boards per game are first in The Summit League, and she is also the conference leader in offensive rebounding with 2.9 per game.
