Frauendorfer Earns Second POTW Honor

OMAHA, Neb. - For the second time this season, senior guard Paige Frauendorfer has been named Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week. The conference office announced the award on Monday.
Frauendorfer recorded two double-doubles in a pair of Omaha league wins last week. In a 59-41 win over Oakland on Thursday, the senior guard had 16 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and four steals. On Saturday, she scored a season-high 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season in the 60-50 win over Fort Wayne. She scored five straight points in a span of 1:03 late in the game to turn a 51-50 lead into a 56-50 advantage.
For the week, Frauendorfer averaged 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.5 assists per game. She also shot 44 percent (15-of-34) from the field and 73 percent (8-of-11) from the free throw line.
Frauendorfer is the second Summit League women's basketball player to earn multiple honors so far this season.
