DJ's Dugout Is New Home of Dean Blais Show

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Athletics and Nelligan Sports Marketing announced today that DJ's Dugout in Aksarben Village will be the new home of “The Dean Blais Show”, a weekly look at UNO hockey with head coach Dean Blais and players.
The show, which airs each Tuesday during the hockey season from 6 – 7 p.m. on 1180 Zone 2 The Deuce, will make its debut on Tuesday, Oct. 8 with hosts Terry Leahy and Dave Ahlers.
“We can't think of a better venue to host 'The Dean Blais Show' than DJ's Dugout,” said John Skolaski, general manager of Nelligan in Omaha. “As Omaha's premier sports bar, DJ's Dugout puts Coach Blais and our players in front of a live audience that knows sports.”
The DJ's Dugout location in Aksarben Village is adjacent to UNO's south campus and is already a popular spot for UNO students. DJ's also has a location at 10th Street and Capitol Avenue, across the street from the CenturyLink Center where the Mavericks will begin their season on Oct. 7.

The Mavericks open play with an exhibition game against the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology on Monday, Oct. 7 at 7:07 p.m. before opening the regular season on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11-12 at home against Bentley of Atlantic Hockey. The full schedule is available at OMavs.com.
