Final Results
ROCHESTER, Mich. -- The Omaha swimming & diving team finished its run at the Summit League Championship in third place on Saturday.
Freshman Natalie Renshaw took fourth in the 100 free (51.26), and her prelims time of 51.03 broke Jessica Hessel's school record of 51.11.
Also in the 100 free finals, junior Erin Wright took 11th (53.00), junior Whitney Korgan landed in 13th (53.21), and freshman Hannah Johnson placed 16th (53.44).
Junior Madeline Hutt swam to third in the 200 breast (2:20.42). Junior Hannah Alexander, freshman Jordane Linhart and senior Katie Meier placed eighth, ninth and 10th respectively.
In the 200 fly, sophomore Jenna Foiles placed sixth (2:08.83), and sophomore Christen Young took ninth (2:07.54).
Korgan, Wright, Renshaw and senior Cami Hansberry made up the 400 free relay team that finished in third (3:29.52).
At the conclusion of the championships, Oakland finished in first in the team standings with 977 points. IUPUI passed the Mavericks on the final day and took second place (517). Omaha, in its inaugural Summit League Championships appearance, had 512.5 team points for third. South Dakota State (476), South Dakota (420), Eastern Illinois (279.5) and Western Illinois (148) rounded out the final standings.
