UNO finishes its season on Saturday at 2 p.m. against Kansas City on Senior Day. The Mavs will honor their four seniors - Carolyn Blair-Mobley, Carly Cator, Paige Frauendorfer and Jamie Nash - prior to tipoff. UNO is not eligible to compete in The Summit League Championship until 2015-16, so Saturday's game will mark the end of the 2012-13 season. The Teams
The Mavs are 16-11 overall and 6-9 in The Summit League. UNO is tied for fifth place in the conference standings with Western Illinois and North Dakota State. The Mavs are looking to close the season with a win to snap a four-game losing skid, its longest of the season.
Kansas City (9-19, 5-10 Summit) is in eighth place in The Summit League. UMKC went 1-5 in February with its only win on the road at Oakland, 59-53.
Series History
The Mavs end their first Summit League season the same way the started it: against UMKC. The Mavs notched a 61-44 win over the Kangaroos in their Summit League debut back on Dec. 28 in Kansas City. UMKC leads the all-time series, 3-2. The Mavs won the only game played in Omaha, though, on Dec. 9, 1986, 85-69. In this year's contest, Ericka House hit a season-best seven 3-pointers to lead all scorers with 21 points. Carolyn Blair-Mobley had 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Paige Frauendorfer had 11 points and 13 rebounds. UNO trailed by five at halftime, 26-21, but dominated the second half, 40-18.
Last Time Out
OMAHA, Neb. - A late scoring drought doomed the UNO women's basketball team in a 50-39 loss to South Dakota in front of a season-high crowd of 651 at the Sapp Fieldhouse Thursday night. South Dakota led 41-37 after Paige Frauendorfer scored from the baseline with 8:40 to play. But the Mavs went the next 7:45 without a point, allowing the Coyotes to build a 50-37 lead. The Mavs' drought ended when Casse Vaughn scored with 55 seconds left, but it was far too late for the Mavs. UNO's 39 points marks a season low, and the Mavs finished 30.5 percent (18-of-59) from the floor and went 0-for-8 from 3-point range, the first time since Feb. 12, 2011 that the Mavs failed to hit at least one 3-pointer. Frauendorfer led UNO with a game-high 14 points. Stacia Gebers added nine points and five rebounds off the bench. Aside from Frauendorfer and Gebers, no other Mav had more than four points. Carolyn Blair-Mobley had a game-high 11 rebounds. The Mavs went 0-for-9 with two turnovers during their 7:45 scoring drought. The Coyotes outrebounded UNO 48-34, including 19 offensive boards for a 15-5 advantage in second-chance points.
Senior Day
The Mavs will pay tribute to four seniors before Saturday's game. All four - Carolyn Blair-Mobley, Carly Cator, Paige Frauendorfer and Jamie Nash - have started every game for UNO this season. The four have combined for 62 percent of the Mavs' scoring this season and 55 percent of the Mavs' rebounding. Frauendorfer and Nash are career 1,000-point scorers, and Nash is the school's all-time career assists and steals leader.
About the Mavericks
• Senior guard Paige Frauendorfer ranks third in The Summit League in scoring (14.8 ppg) and second in rebounding (8.2 rpg). Frauendorfer, a third-team Capital One Academic All-American, has seven double-doubles this season, and all five of her 20-plus point games have come in league play.
• Senior guard Jamie Nash broke her own school record for assists in a season last week. Nash now has 182 assists this season to break her old record of 166 set last season. Nash leads the conference in assists per game (6.7) and steals per game (3.2) and ranks ninth nationally in assists per game and 17th in steals per game. She adds 9.3 ppg and 3.3 rpg.
• Junior guard Ericka House has made an immediate impact in her first season at UNO. The junior college transfer has hit 56 3-pointers off the bench, tied for the fifth highest total in UNO history in a single season. House's 9.1 ppg ranks first in The Summit League among players who have started fewer than 50 percent of their team's games, and her 2.1 made treys per game are tied for the most in The Summit League.
• Sophomore center Taijhe Kelly leads The Summit League with 69 blocked shots (2.6 bpg) and ranks 16th nationally in blocks per game. She has 46 blocked shots in conference games only entering the final week, double that of her closest competitor, UMKC's Ashli Hill with 23.
• The Mavs rank second in the conference in shooting at 40.2 percent. On the defensive end, the Mavs are second in the conference in field goal percentage allowed (36.3 percent) and are first in scoring defense (55.4 ppg).
• While the Mavs were 15-12 last season in their first year in Division I, their record was only 2-10 against Division I opponents. This year, Omaha is 13-11 against Division I teams.

• The Kangaroos are led by Eilise O'Connor, who is second in The Summit League with 17.5 points per game. The next closest Kangaroo in the rotation is Hailey Houser at 5.7 ppg. The Kangaroos rank third in The Summit League in 3-point shooting at 32.4 percent.
