
Sustr Signs Contract with Tampa Bay

OMAHA, Neb. - UNO junior defenseman Andrej Sustr has signed a two-year entry level contract with the NHL's Tampa Bay Lighting, foregoing his senior season with the Mavericks. The announcement was made by Tampa Bay General Manager Steve Yzerman.
Sustr led all UNO defensemen with nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points, all career highs. He was fifth overall in team scoring and also ranked fifth on the team with a +16 plus/minus rating. Sustr also finished second on the team with four powerplay goals and was third on the team with 53 penalty minutes.
The native of Plzen, Czech Republic finishes his UNO career having played in 111 games, scoring 15 goals and 36 assists for 51 points. He had 117 career penalty minutes.
