AZUSA, Calif. - Junior Sami Spenner is in second place after the first day of competition in the heptathlon at the Mt. SAC Relays hosted by Azusa Pacific.

She finished competiton with a wind-aided time of 23.97 in the 200 meters, the fastest time of any of the 14 competitors to post a score. The time would have been a new PR had it not been for the wind measured at 2.5 meters per second.
