Mavs Place Seventh in NFCA All-Academic Rankings

OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha softball team finished seventh in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division I All-Academic Team rankings for 2012-13 with a 3.534 team GPA.
Alabama posted the top team GPA among Division I schools with a 3.69. Kent State, Murray State, Robert Morris, Northern Colorado and Southern Illinois followed.
The Mavs finished as the top Summit League school in the rankings, edging out South Dakota (10th)
The NFCA Academic Awards program honors both collegiate and high school teams for their submitted GPAs from the 2012-13 academic year.
