2014 Diamond Club Season Opener Set for Feb. 1

OMAHA, Neb. -- The UNO Diamond Club will host its fifth annual Season Opener event to benefit the Omaha baseball program, it was announced Monday. The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 1 at Knights of Columbus Hall and will include meet-and-greet time with the 2014 Maverick baseball team.
Food and beverages will be provided for all attendees from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The night also includes a raffle at 7:30 p.m., as well as Maverick baseball apparel for sale. Knights of Columbus Hall is located at 4323 Washington Street in Omaha.
Tickets may be purchased in advance by sending checks payable to the UNO Diamond Club, care of Pam Schwarting, 6001 Dodge Street, Sapp Fieldhouse 204, Omaha, Neb., 68182.
