Mavericks Crack Poll at No. 19

OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha hockey team made its first appearance in the weekly men's division I college hockey polls, coming in 19th in this week's poll from USCHO.com.
The Mavericks received 151 points in the voting after landing in the "receiving votes" category in the first weeks of the season. They also are receiving votes in this week's poll from USA Today/USA Hockey, earning 25 points for the equivalent of 18th.
Omaha is coming off a 1-1 tie and a 2-1 win at then No. 18 Cornell last weekend.
The Mavericks return to the road this weekend for a non-conference series against Ohio State on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7-8. Both games begin at 6:05 p.m. CT from Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Live coverage is available at 1180 Zone 2 and OMavs.com.
