Tuesday Softball Doubleheader Canceled

OMAHA, Neb. - Tuesday's home softball doubleheader against Kansas City has been canceled because of UMKC's delayed travel home following a weekend series at Grand Canyon in Phoenix, Ariz.
The Kangaroos played an 11-inning game at Grand Canyon on Saturday and were unable to make their flight back to Kansas City. UMKC was not able to find a flight out of Phoenix in time to return home and get to Omaha for Tuesday's games.
Although the Mavs lose the two home games, they make up for it this weekend with a three-game league series against North Dakota State. The series was originally scheduled to be played in Fargo but was moved to Westside Field at Westbrook because of frozen field conditions at NDSU's facility.
