Mavericks Add Wright State Transfer Daniel Meyer

OMAHA, Neb. -- Wright State forward Daniel Meyer is set to transfer to the Omaha men's basketball program in 2014-15, head coach Derrin Hansen announced Friday.
Meyer, a 6-9, 240-pound forward, redshirted his first season at Wright State in 2013-14. Under head coach Jim Stergar at Central Catholic High School in Billings, Mont., he averaged 20.2 points, 13.0 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game and shot .550 from the field as a senior. That season, the Rams finished as state runner-up, and Meyer went on to earn all-state honors. He also played club basketball for the Colorado Chaos.
"We're excited that Daniel is joining our program in 2014-15," Hansen said. "He brings us a presence in the post with his size, and we're looking forward to working with him this summer when he arrives on campus."
