Three Mavericks Repeat on NABC Honor Roll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches has released the 2013-14 NABC Honors Court, and the list includes three Omaha men's basketball student-athletes who excelled in the classroom this past season: departed seniors and May 2014 graduates Matt Hagerbaumer, John Karhoff and Caleb Steffensmeier.
Hagerbaumer graduated with his bachelor's degree in business administration, carrying a 3.62 grade-point average. Karhoff earned his bachelor's degree in journalism with a 3.63 GPA, while Steffensmeier received his bachelor's degree in business administration with a 3.57 GPA. All three are repeat honorees on the NABC Honors Court, as they were also named to the 2012-13 list.
In order to be named to the annual Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, hold a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher and been matriculated at least one year at his current institution.
