Hockey Announces Game Time Change

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Athletics announced today that the start time for the hockey game against New Hampshire on Dec. 31 has been moved to 4:07 p.m. CT.
"Since it is New Year's Eve, we knew that many of our fans would want to enjoy the holiday festivities with their families," said Mike Kemp, associate athletic director. "By moving to an earlier start time, fans will be able to go right from our game to the annual New Year's Eve fireworks show in downtown Omaha."
This is the second adjusted game time for a UNO hockey game this year. The Mavericks' game against St. Cloud State on Saturday, Dec. 13 will be played at 8:07 p.m. CT, one hour later than the usual Saturday start time. The change is being made to accommodate a Creighton basketball game being played earlier in the day.
The Mavericks open the 2014-15 season on Monday, Oct. 6 when they host the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in an exhibition game at 7:07 p.m. Their regular season begins later that week when they host Minnesota State on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 10-11.
Season tickets are now on sale through the UNO ticket office in the Sapp Fieldhouse and on-line at OmahasTeam.com. Single game tickets may be purchased at the Sapp Fieldhouse, the CenturyLink Center box office and through Ticketmaster.
