LITTLETON, Colo. – The Omaha women's golf team finished 18th at the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate hosted by Denver on Sunday.
The Mavericks shot a third-round team score of 316 to close at 954 for the 54-hole tournament at the Highlands Ranch Golf Course. Host Denver won with a two-under score of 862. San Francisco was second at 867 while Washington State was third at 870.
Katie Kesti was UNO's top scorer for the tournament with a final total of 227, putting her in a tie for 53rd. She shot 76 on Sunday. Jordan York was second for UNO and 90th overall at 239, a score that included a round of 79 on Sunday.
Mandy Boyle was one stroke back at 240 after shooting 80 in round three. She tied for 91st overall. Makenna Kroeker was 97th with a score of 250 that featured a final round of 81.
Alexa Ruwe finished the scoring for the Mavericks with a third round score of 91 to finish at 263.
The Mavericks are off until Oct. 19-20 when they close the fall season at the Creighton Classic.
