Mavericks Co-Host Rally for the Cure Event

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha women's tennis program teamed up with College of Saint Mary last weekend, co-hosting a Rally for the Cure event at Miracle Hill Golf and Tennis Center to support breast cancer awareness and education.
Participants put their tennis games to the test in a fastest serve contest, a beat-the-pro contest and a skills competition. The night was completed with a doubles tournament among all participants.
A donation drive was also held to raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the American Cancer Society and breast cancer research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Over $750 was raised for the organizations.
