Mavericks Place 11th in NFCA All-Academic Rankings

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha softball team finished 11th in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division I All-Academic Team rankings for 2014-15 with a 3.509 team GPA.
Lipscomb posted the top team GPA among Division I schools with a 3.645. Grand Canyon, DePaul, Southern Illinois, and Harvard followed.
The Mavs finished as the top Summit League school in the rankings. Western Illinois was the other Summit League school to make the list, finishing 78th with a GPA of 3.209.
The NFCA Academic Awards program honors both collegiate and high school teams for their submitted GPAs from the 2014-15 academic year.
