Steady As She Goes - Mavericks Still Ranked Sixth

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha hockey team is once again sixth in both weekly college hockey polls.
The Mavericks have now held that position for three weeks in the USCHO.com poll and for the second week in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.
Omaha is coming off a four-point weekend at Miami last week. The Mavericks tied the RedHawks, 3-3, before losing in the 3-on-3 overtime. The following night, UNO won 3-2 in overtime on a goal from Jake Randolph.
The NCHC has five teams in the USCHO.com poll with North Dakota leading the way in fifth. After Omaha, St. Cloud State is in seventh, Denver is in ninth and Minnesota Duluth ranks 17th. All of the same teams except Minnesota Duluth are ranked in the same position in the USA Today poll with only Denver occupying a different position, 10th. UMD is receiving votes.
The Mavericks return home for a non-conference series with Ohio State on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 27-28. Both games begin at 7:07 p.m.
