2015-16 Omaha Men's Basketball TV Slate Announced

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha men's basketball team will play 10 games on national or regional broadcasts during the 2015-16 season, as was announced with the Summit League's season-long television schedule release.
Four of those contests will come early in the non-conference slate, with the Mavericks meeting UMKC on Tuesday, Nov. 17 on ESPN3, Colorado on Pac-12 Network on Sunday, Nov. 22, Minnesota on ESPN3 on Friday, Nov. 27 and Missouri on SEC Network on Wednesday, Dec. 9.
UNO will also play six of its conference games on TV. The Saturday, Jan. 9 game at South Dakota will be shown on both ESPN3 and Midco Sports Network, as will the Mavericks' trip to South Dakota State on Thursday, Jan. 28 and a home tilt with Jackrabbits on Wednesday, Feb. 10. Three more games -- at Oral Roberts on Saturday, Jan. 23, at Western Illinois on Wednesday, Feb. 3 and at IUPUI on Wednesday, Feb. 17 -- will be available on ESPN3 only.
Omaha opens the 2015-16 season Friday, Nov. 13, welcoming UC Santa Barbara at 7 p.m. The contest kicks off a three-game homestand at the Mavericks' new on-campus home, Baxter Arena.
