Shaw Named Summit League Player of the Week

OMAHA, Neb. – Sophomore guard Mikaela Shaw was named the Summit League's Player of the Week following her performance Feb. 9-15, the league office announced Monday.
This is the first player of the week award in Shaw's career and comes after a 38-point performance against North Dakota State on Saturday afternoon. The Deweese, Neb. native shot 15-of-26 from the floor, including a pair of 3-pointers against NDSU. The guard's 38 points were a Summit League season-high, fifth-highest in league history and third-highest in program history.
Shaw also tallied 18 points with five rebounds and two assists against South Dakota earlier in the week.
