Baude Named Summit League Player of the Week
OMAHA, Neb. – Senior Jacqueline Baude was named the Summit League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance Feb. 17-23, the conference office announced Tuesday. It marks the first player-of-the-week award of her career.
Baude helped her Omaha pick up a conference road victory over Oral Roberts, 5-2, last Saturday. The Papillion, Neb., native was victorious at No. 2 singles, defeating Brenda Mercado Jove, 6-1, 2-6, 7-5. She then teamed up with freshman Michelle Lo for a No. 1 doubles win over Brenda Mercado Jove and Marizanne Bouwerby a score of 8-2.
