Mavericks Announce Pink Game

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's basketball team is proud to announce that Thursday's game against Fort Wayne will be the team's annual “Pink Out Night” to raise awareness of breast cancer. Tipoff is 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26 at Sapp Fieldhouse.
All fans are encouraged to wear pink for this game, and the team will be handing out pink wrist bands before the game to everyone in attendance.
Omaha closes the Sapp Fieldhouse era with its final two home games of the season, before moving to the new UNO/Community Arena. The Mavericks finish the season on Saturday, Feb. 28 against Denver. Prior to the 2 p.m. game, UNO will honor four senior basketball players.
