Baseball Series With UIW Back On For May 21-23

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha baseball team's non-conference series with Incarnate Word, previously announced as cancelled, is now back on for May 21-23 at the Ballpark at Boys Town, it was announced Thursday.
The series was cancelled earlier this week due to transportation challenges but now will be played as was originally scheduled. First pitch for all contests in the three-game series is set for 2 p.m., with a single game each day.
"We're thrilled that we're able to play Incarnate Word to close our 2015 season at home," head coach Bob Herold said. "We're looking forward to recognizing the accomplishments of our six seniors and playing in front of our home fans one final time."
Senior Day festivities will be held on Saturday immediately prior to gametime, honoring the careers of Andrew Buehler, Tyler Hamer, Daniel Jewett, Justin Threlkeld, Cole Volkers and Zach Williamsen.
