SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Ashley Kildow took second in the 1,500 meters, just one of several high points for the Omaha track & field team on the second day of the Howard Wood Dakota Relays.
Kildow missed a personal best by less than a second by finishing the race in 4:34.42.
Terri Armstrong tied for sixth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.77 while Hannah Fowler took eighth in a personal best time of 12.85.
In the 400 meter hurdles, Madeline Glesinger has a personal best time of 1:05.36, good for ninth place.
In the field events, Emily Everitt had a personal best leap of 16-10 ¾ in the long jump, putting her in seventh place.
The Mavericks' next action is at the Nebraska Invitational on Saturday, May 9 in Lincoln.
