TULSA, Okla. – The Omaha women's golf team is 15th after the first two rounds of the Bob Hurley Shootout hosted by Oral Roberts.
The Mavericks shot team scores of 330 and 324 for a total score of 654, putting them last in the 15-team field. Sam Houston State leads after the first day at Meadowbrook Country Club with a score of 594. Stephen F. Austin is second at 598, and McNeese State is third at 600.
Megan Vetrovsky leads the Mavericks in scoring and is in a tie for 32nd with scores of 77 and 78 for a total of 155, 11 over par. Katie Kesti is second for UNO and in a tie for 57th with a score of 162 that included rounds of 85 and 77.
Jordan York is in a tie for 66th after shooting scores of 79 and 85 for a total of 164 while Morgan Miller carded rounds of 94 and 84 for a total of 178, good for a tie for 79th.
Mandy Boyle rounds out the scoring for UNO with a score of 180 that came from rounds of 89 and 91.
The final round is Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
