Patterson Selected League Co-Player of the Week

OMAHA, Neb. – Senior guard Devin Patterson was named Summit League Co-Player of the Week for his performances Dec. 28 to Jan. 3, the conference office announced Monday. The weekly award was his second of the season and the third of his career.
Patterson led Omaha in scoring in both games last weekend, lifting Mavericks to their first 2-0 Summit League start. The Portsmouth, Va., native connected on 13 of 17 free throw attempts in a 25-point performance against Western Illinois, also tying his season highs of six rebounds, seven assists and three steals. He then hit 9-of-14 field goals and all five free throw attempts for 24 points against IUPUI, adding four assists and a pair of steals. For the week, Patterson averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals with a .536 field goal percentage and a .818 free throw percentage.
Oral Roberts' Obi Emegano joined Patterson as Co-Player of the Week.
