
Following Bye Week, Mavericks Remain 12th In Polls

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha hockey team remains 12th in both college hockey polls released on Monday.
The Mavericks, who are coming off their final bye week of the season, held their position in both the USCHO.com top-20 poll and the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine top-15 poll.
Omaha is 16-9-1 overall and 6-9-1-0/0 in the NCHC, putting them in sixth place, just five points ahead of their opponent this week, Western Michigan.
North Dakota is the conference's top-ranked team again this week, coming in second in both polls. St. Cloud State is fourth in both rankings with Denver follows the Mavericks at 13th in both polls.
The Mavericks host Western Michigan on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 12-13. Friday's game begins one half hour earlier than usual at 6:37 p.m. to accommodate television coverage on CBS Sports Network. Saturday's game begins at 7:07 p.m. and can be seen statewide on NET1 and regionally on Fox College Sports Central.
