Ditto Tabbed as Summit League Player of the Week

OMAHA, Neb. – Catcher Campbell Ditto was named Summit League Player of the Week for her performances the week of April 11-17.
Ditto collects her first Player of the Week honor of the season and the second in her career after an impressive week at the plate and behind it. The Wamego, Kan. native hit .500 (7-for-14) in Omaha's 3-1 week, including a series win at Western Illinois and a mid-week victory at Iowa State.
Ditto recorded base hits in all four of the Mavs' games during the week, including a pair of home runs in game one of Saturday's doubleheader. For the week, she hit two home runs, while driving in four runs and scoring three times with an on-base percentage of .563 and slugged 1.000. Behind the plate, Ditto had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage while throwing out both base runners attempting to steal on her.
Omaha is now 23-22 overall and 9-2 in Summit League play. UNO returns home to start a six game home stand starting on Tuesday afternoon. The Mavericks welcome North Dakota to Westside Field at Westbrook for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.
