Scouting the Kansas State Wildcats
Kansas State enters the week with a record of 16-20 (3-9 Big 12) and plays Nebraska Tuesday night before facing Omaha on Wednesday. The Wildcats took two of three games in a Big 12 road series at West Virginia last weekend, winning 8-6 on Friday and 15-2 on Saturday before dropping the series finale 5-4 on Sunday. Clayton Dalrymple is one of five KSU players batting over .300, leading the team with a .349 average.
Head coach Brad Hill (Emporia State, 1985) is in his 13th season at K-State and carries a record of 406-323-3 at the school and a career mark of 824-414-3 over 22 years of coaching.

Last Time Out: ORU Sweeps Saturday Doubleheader From Mavericks
Omaha was swept in a doubleheader by Oral Roberts Saturday afternoon, falling 6-3 and 3-2 at J.L. Johnson Stadium. Freshman Grant Suponchick led the Mavericks offensively in the first game of the day, finishing 2-for-4 with an RBI. Junior left-hander Sam Murphy (2-2) was dealt the loss, surrendering six runs -- five earned -- on seven hits and two walks with a pair of strikeouts over 7.0 innings.
Sophomore right-hander Corey Binger (4-3) took the loss, giving up three runs on nine hits and two walks with two strikeouts in his 6.0-inning outing. Sophomore Adam Caniglia and freshman Riley Herold each went 1-for-3 with a run scored in the contest, with Caniglia also driving in a run.
Schultz's Success at Werner Park
Over his seven career games at Werner Park, senior Alex Schultz has batted a team-best .423 with six runs scored, four RBI, five doubles and a home run. He propelled Omaha to its first win at the facility on April 1, 2014, coming through with the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 10th for a 6-5 win over Kansas State.
Clayton's the Catalyst
Omaha is 11-1 this season when senior Clayton Taylor registers a multi-hit game. The Mount Michael product is a catalyst for the Mavericks' offensive production, hitting a team-high .410 with runners on base, and he has success advancing runners 56 percent of the time.
