Omaha Travels to Colorado for Two-Match Tilt

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's tennis team is riding a season long four match winning streak into its last road trip of the season this weekend. The Mavericks take on conference foe Denver at 11 a.m. and Colorado State at 2:30 p.m. in Denver, Colo.
Omaha is coming off home victories over Northwestern (Iowa) (7-0) and College of Saint Mary (7-0) last weekend. The Mavericks improved to 9-8 (0-1 Summit League) on the season with the sweeps.
Junior Kenzie Hill and freshman Janelle Wilson each have seven singles wins to lead the Mavs this year. In doubles, junior Hylan Miller and sophomore Michelle Lo pace Omaha with an 8-2 mark.
No. 31 Denver enters the weekend on a nine-match win streak and a 16-2 (3-0 Summit League) record on the season. The Pioneers are led by Julia O'Loughlin, who is 15-2 playing exclusively in the No. 1 singles position.
Colorado State is 3-11 on the season after falling to Air Force and New Mexico last weekend. The Rams are led by Madison Porter, who is a team-best 5-7 on the season in singles play.
The Mavericks return home for a midweek Summit League matchup against South Dakota on Tuesday, April 12 at 6 p.m. at Miracle Hill Golf and Tennis Center.
