Ditto Collects NFCA All-Region Second Team Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Omaha catcher Campbell Ditto was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Midwest Region Second Team by member coaches, the organization announced on Thursday.
Earlier this season, Ditto earned First Team All-Summit League and CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 honors. Overall, the senior was the third leading hitter for the Mavericks with a .326 average. Ditto had nine doubles, two triples, 10 home runs and 27 RBI for Omaha. She also threw out 11 baserunners this season.
The Wamego, Kan. native had an 11 game hitting streak from April 3-17. She hit .476 with four home runs and 13 RBI during the stretch and earned Summit League Player of the Week accolades. In Summit League action, she hit .317 with five home runs, 12 RBI, and 15 runs scored.
The Mavericks finished their season with a 30-29 overall record and finished second in the Summit League regular season with a 12-5 mark.
