Basketball Season Tickets On Sale Aug. 22

OMAHA, Neb. - Season tickets for the 2016-17 Omaha men's and women's basketball seasons will go on sale Monday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m., the Omaha Athletic Department announced Thursday. Seats are available at a variety of price levels throughout Baxter Arena, with packages for men's games starting at $99 and women's games starting at $70.
Men's game seating options are $99 for the upper bowl, $170 for lower bowl corners, $225 for center court and $500 for courtside, while women's game options are $70 for bowl seating and $150 for courtside. Fans may purchase season ticket packages online at OMavs.com/tix, by phone at (402) 554-MAVS or in-person at the Baxter Arena Box Office.
Omaha's men's schedule will be released in its entirety at a later time and will include as many as 12 home dates. The Mavericks went 18-14 (10-6 Summit League) last year, making their second postseason appearance of the Division I era with a spot in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI). They also finished among the top 30 nationally for NCAA attendance growth, boosting their average from 1,374 at Ralston Arena in 2014-15 to 2,265 at Baxter Arena in 2015-16.
Omaha's women's schedule comprises 14 home dates, including a marquee matchup with Kansas State on Dec. 4. Last season, UNO finished 15-15 (7-9 Summit League) and played through the semifinal round of the Summit League Championship, which marked the program's first Division I conference tournament berth.
