Mavericks Close Fall at ODU

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's golf team finishes the fall half of its season at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Oct. 22-24 in Powells Point, N.C.
The event, hosted by Old Dominion, features 18 holes each day at the Kilmarlic Golf Club. The 18 participating teams will tee off at 7:30 a.m. CT on Sunday and Monday and at 7 a.m. CT on Tuesday.
The Mavericks last played at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate at UMKC on Oct. 9-10. They tied Northern Iowa for 11th in the tournament with a 54-hole score of 918.
David Huxham led the Mavericks in scoring and was tied for 35th overall with a score of 226. He was three strokes ahead of teammate Kevin Gordon who shot 229 to finish in a tie for 46th.
Sam Musch was third for UNO and tied for 54th overall with a total of 230 while Kelly Brown carded a total score of 234 to tie for 59th. Â
Bank Chantrakantanond closed out the scoring with a total of 236 for the tournament.
Following the tournament, the Mavericks will resume play in February.
