Mavericks Finish Fall at Drake

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's golf team finishes the fall half of its season at the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Drake on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 9-10.
The teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 more on Tuesday beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day at the Echo Valley Country Club in Norwalk, Iowa.
The Mavericks are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Chip-N Club Invitational at Nebraska last week, their fourth tournament of the fall season.
Freshman Hannah Hunke led the Mavericks in scoring with a three-round total of 238. She finished 23rd overall while leading the Mavericks for the first time in her career.
Mandy Boyle was second for UNO and tied for 40th with a score of 243. She was one stroke ahead of Megan Vetrovsky who finished with a total of 244 that put her in a tie for 44th.
Sami Langford posted a score of 248 to finish 48th overall. Jordan York completed the scoring for UNO with a score of 250 to tie for 50th.
Samantha Chong, playing as an individual, tied for 10th overall with a score of 231. Her score did not count toward the team tally. Haley Wineman, also playing as an individual, finished at 262.
Following play at Drake, the Mavericks will resume their season in February.
