CAMP INFORMATION
ELITE/POSITION CAMP
June 4, 2018
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $85 (Early bird registration $75 by May 1)
Ages: Entering grades 7-12
Position Camp: For the athletes looking for more advanced instruction, this camp will include intensive offensive and defensive position fundamental teaching. Through a variety of ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defensive drills, we will teach the concepts that will help athletes refine and improve their basketball skills. Competitive situations will be a part of daily instruction.
ELEMENTARY SKILLS CAMP I
June 6-8, 2018
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (June 6-7); 9 a.m. - Noon (June 8)
Cost: $150 (Early bird registration $135 by May 1)
Ages: Entering grades 1-6
ELEMENTARY SKILLS CAMP II
June 11-13, 2018
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (June 11-12); 9 a.m. - Noon (June 13)
Cost: $150 (Early bird registration $135 by May 1)
Ages: Entering grades 1-6
Elementary Skills Camp 1/2: These three-day camps provides young basketball players on-court instruction and insight to the fundamentals of basketball. Emphasis will be placed on developing essential skills, including offensive and defensive basics, shooting, ball handling, passing, proper exercising mechanics and more. Campers will walk away with a better understanding of basketball, teamwork and work ethic. The goal of the camp is to promote knowledge of basketball skills and to ensure a fun, positive experience for all participants.
ELEMENTARY SKILLS CAMP BUNDLE
June 6-8 & 11-13, 2018
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (June 6-7/11-12); 9 a.m. - Noon (June 8 and 13)
Cost: $240
Ages: Entering grades 1-6
GENERAL CAMP INFORMATION
Camp Coaches: The Omaha Women's Basketball camps have qualified staff that has acquired coaching experience from high school, Division I, II, and III, and professional and WNBA levels. The coach-to-camper ratio is approximately 1:8.
Camp Benefits: Each camper will receive a Maverick women's basketball camp T-shirt. Skill Development campers will also receive a basketball.
Facilities: Position and Skill Development camps will take place at the Sapp Fieldhouse, located on the South end of the main UNO campus.

Health Care/Physicals: All campers must carry their own health insurance. The University of Nebraska Omaha cannot be held responsible for injuries sustained at camp. A 1st Responder will be available on site for all camp sessions. Please notify camp staff and/or an athletic trainer in advance of any health conditions or needs. Each participant must have completed a recent school physical and must present a medical release form with a parent/guardian signature.
Camp Attire: All campers should wear appropriate basketball training gear and shoes. Basketballs will be provided.
Camp Store: A variety of snacks, beverages, and lunch specials will be available for purchase through our camp store daily. (Skill and Position Camps only).
