
Mavericks Come In 11th at Little Rock/ASU Invite

MAUMELLE, Ark. – The Omaha women's golf team finished in 11th place at the Little Rock/Arkansas State Invitational on Tuesday.
The Mavericks shot 320 as a team on the final day of play at the Maumelle Country Club to finish the 54-hole tournament at 969. Central Arkansas won the event with a score of 897. Co-host Little Rock was second at 912, and Texas El Paso and Toledo tied for third at 917.
Megan Vetrovsky led the Mavericks with a three-round total of 231 that included a final round of 77. She finished in a tie for 20th in the field of 76 players.
Mandy Boyle and Samantha Chong tied for second on the team and for 55th overall with totals of 247. Chong shot 77 in round three while Boyle carded a 90.
Jordan York was 63rd overall after shooting 82 on Tuesday to finish at 250. Sami Langford completed the scoring for the Mavericks with a total of 259 that featured a final round of 84.
Haley Wineman and Morgan Miller both played as individuals. Wineman finished at 268 for the tournament while Miller shot 271.
The Mavericks are back in action at the Bobcat Desert Invitational hosted by Montana State on Monday and Tuesday, April 10-11 in Goodyear, Ariz.
