Round 1 Results

POWELLS POINT, N.C. – The Omaha men's golf team sits in 10th place after the first round of the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate.

The Mavericks shot a team score of 304 in the opening round. Campbell leads with a score of 277. UNC Wilmington is second at 287, and Drexel is third at 293.

Kevin Gordon led the Mavericks in the first round with a one-over-par round of 72, tying him for 10th in the field of 92 players.

Witchayapat Sinsrang was one stroke back with an opening round of 73, putting him in a tie for 17th. Cole Christain shot 78, leaving him third on the team and in a tie for 56th overall.

Jonah Wright is tied for 78th after a first-round score of 81, and Nick Kagy shot 86 to put him in a tie for 89th.

The 54-hole tournament, hosted by Old Dominion, is UNO's last event of the fall season. It runs through Tuesday at the Kilmarlic Golf Course.

The second round begins at 7:30 a.m. CT on Monday.
